We love craft beer and produce fresh crisp beer from natural ingredients.All our beers are brewed with Hops, Barley, Natural Yeast and cape Spring water.Our beer is freshly made with no artificial ingredients added to it.
On average craft beer can take up to 6 weeks before you can drink it. Blouberg Craft Brewery bottle ages all our craft beers for that fresh and crisp taste. We don’t add CO2 to our beers. Let’s face it, if you had to add CO2 to your beer it’s not a natural craft beer anymore.
We leave all those yeast cells to do their jobs and create their own CO2 from the natural sugars found in barley. We also don’t filter our craft beers, so please don’t panic when you find a small amount of sediment at the bottom of your beer. This is a natural occurrence and is perfectly safe to drink.
To reduce the sediment when you pour your beer, please chill your Blouberg Craft Brew to 10 Degrees Celsius and leave to stand upright in your fridge for at least 12 hours. Those are some long 12hours we know. Just be patient, that crisp clean hoppy taste is worth the wait. Open the beer and slowly pour your Blouberg Brew in to your tilted glass. Careful not to pour to fast. Leave just the last bit of beer in the bottle. You will notice the sediment moving towards the bottle opening. Stop as it reaches the opening of the bottle and enjoy your ice cold Craft beer from Blouberg Craft Brewery.
Some people shake the bottle and drink the sediment but that is your personal choice. Like we said this sediment is harmless to you so feel free to experiment with it.
